Overall it was a great facility and tournament. It felt rushed between games with little warmup time and teams waiting to get to the bench between games. Please consider dropping Stay to Play as they significantly overcharge for accommodations. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!
The tournament is well run and there's good competition. However the turf on some fields is really fast and has big impacts on the play style. If your team practices on grass, then it can be a big challenge to adjust.
Franco, Great event on our end! Between my 7, U14 games, we had 5 out of 7 games decided by a goal or tied, 1 game with a 2-0 scoreline & a 4-1 scoreline meaning, they were all great games! No issues at on my end at all. Thank you for a wonderful event & great memories for the kids!
Outstanding event, great venue. Would certainly come back. Two notes: -Double check scoring before posting to the site. We were wrongly put in final game-told the team we were in, and then had to tell them we were out-disappointing -Rock Island Holiday Inn yanked our room block before it expired, and several families couldn't book it. That's unacceptable-perhaps that hotel shouldn't be included.
It is nice to have so many great teams coming to Bettendorf to compete.
