We appreciated the opportunity to play on the grass fields. They were wide and allowed us to open up our passing game.
Great tournament and an incredible venue! Unfortunately, the officiating was inconsistent—rules on free kicks and the build-out line changed from game to game. It’s disappointing that the Championship was decided by a goal that wouldn’t have counted earlier. Please ensure officials are consistent in rule enforcement.
The tournament is hosted at a nice facility and in a nice area with a lot of restaurants. Both of the women's bathrooms I used were having some issues with plumbing. Overall a decent tournament for lower to middle level competition and a nice indoor area. There was also plenty of parking near the fields we were playing on.
In our 7v7 final, the other team had 13 players—over the 12-player max. Refs didn’t check cards, and the director was absent. Our 2017 team (3rd grade) had to play up vs. 2016s (5th grade). Why was a 2016 team (1025/2016 Quah City Strikers) allowed in our bracket? Saying they’re a “rec team” was a lie. Why allow overage teams + illegal rosters?
Our team had a great experience in the Columbus Day Tournament. The 9v9 fields on the indoor field were wider than normal, and we only had 2 other teams in our bracket, which was odd. Other than that, the competition was fairly even and made our boys push harder to win. Thank you for a great experience.
We had a wonderful experience. Our girls tied 3 of their games so I'd say the level of competition was perfect. The only reason I gave a lower score on facilities is because the restrooms were in very rough shape on Sunday.
Everything was great. Very minor issue our team experienced was finding the field numbers for the first game. Once we were there we understood where to go. Maybe a little better/bigger signage. Other than that a very beautiful place to play.
