The facilities and fields were great, and the communication from event staff was timely and clear. The main issue our team experienced was the bracket placement. The lowest bracket in the U11 age group included two more competitive U12 teams. Since the bracket included older teams, the rules allowed headers, which was another issue for the U11 teams who have not been allowed to practice headers.
I don’t remember his name, but the medical trainer on staff riding around in the golf cart on Sunday around 1230pm was very helpful to my daughter and I. She rolled her ankle the game before and I have no idea how to tape and ankle. He was kind and efficient and taped it up for her.
The facilities are beautiful, parking and local accommodations are great.
Last time at TBK there were real bathrooms. This time just portapotties. My son had a bloody nose and no place to wash up. Also, not enough trash cans convenient to fields. Folks were leaving their trash behind.
